I decided to start blogging. It seems like now would be a good time. Simon just turned 1 a week ago. We had a huge party at Gourmet Market with 62 guests. We also had some amazing food prepared by the incomparably talented Chef Holly. Simon had a monkey birthday cake because he loves Curious George and he even had his own little monkey cake (which he didn't eat).
He is crawling all over the place and he walks along the edges of things now. My favorite new trick of his involves taking his little red bucket and putting his soccer ball and his football and his basketball in it. Then he looks up to see how excited we get. It is totally cute.
